Bee Kind is a tri-metal (silver, silicon bronze, and copper) necklace that seemingly took me forever to make.  There is a boatload of intricate metal work in this piece, and I made every component by hand, including the spikes.  Hammering the head and tail into shape was a laborious process, but I love the result.
 
This piece is more metal-centric than gem-centric, which is a reversion to my roots.  In the beginning, I focused mainly on metal fabrication, and this bee is all about metal work.  That beautiful, molten honey piece of Baltic amber in the middle is just enough gemmy juice to warm Bee Kind up a bit.
 
I fabricated the chain from scratch by hammering thick silver wire into the shape you see.  I left the hammer marks because I love how they look.
